Editing an Order

Orders can be placed manually using the main settings, using Manual strategies, or automatically via strategies. This uses the main configuration, fixed buttons, sliders, and strategy-specific parameters. If the order is already on the chart, you can right-click it and select Order. This will open a separate Active Order window where you can edit some of the order’s parameters and values.

In the Active Order window you can:

  • Change the Buy Price (Order BUY Price)

  • Change the Sell Price, choosing a fixed value or leaving the global setting

  • Enable/disable and configure Stop Loss, Trailing Stop, and VSTOP.

For example, to enable Stop Loss, click Stop Loss OFF to switch it to ON. Then, check the Fixed box — this unlocks a field where you can manually enter the desired stop loss percentage. To the right, you can also change the spread value that will be used when the stop loss is triggered. Trailing Stop is configured in the same way.

Below that is the Take Profit section, where you can specify the price at which the trailing will be activated.

The VStop parameter is not configured in the global order settings — it can only be enabled and adjusted in the Active Order window for a specific order on a specific coin.

For VStop, you can set a percentage value or enter a specific price level at which the order book volume should be monitored. If the volume at that level drops below the defined threshold (entered in the far-right field), the volume-based stop-loss will trigger, and MoonBot will sell the coins at market price.

For example, if there is a large limit order (a "wall") in the green order book at –1% from the buy price, you can set the value to –1.1% or enter a price just below that wall. As soon as the wall starts getting eaten or is removed entirely, and the volume at the set level drops below the threshold, this may signal further price decline. In that case, VStop will trigger, and the position will be closed automatically.

You can also right-click any empty field next to an order in the Orders window to open an additional context menu.

Show All orders

The Show All orders option displays all orders in the Orders window, including both active and closed (DONE) orders.

However, executed orders with DONE status can also be viewed separately in the report table under the Closed Trades tab. To avoid overloading the Orders window with unnecessary rows, users typically enable the next menu option, which hides all executed (DONE) orders.

Show only Active orders

The Show only Active orders option displays only active orders in the Orders window — meaning all unfilled Buy and Pending orders, as well as any open Sell orders. All orders with DONE status will be hidden.

Show only Active Market

When this option is selected, only orders from the currently fullscreen market chart will be shown. So if you enable this option and open a chart in fullscreen mode, the Orders window will show only the orders for that market, hiding all others. When exiting fullscreen mode, the Orders window will again display orders from all markets.

Hide Emulator orders

The Hide Emulator orders[1]option hides all orders placed in emulation mode. It means, that the terminal will still operate in emulation mode and allow you to place emulator orders, but those orders will not be displayed in the Orders window.

Sort

The Sort option determines how orders are displayed in the Orders window.

Selecting Sell First places all Sell orders at the top of the list and Buy orders below — a common setup for managing open positions.

Selecting Buy First places Buy orders at the top and Sell orders at the bottom.

The Creation Order option sorts orders in the order they were placed on the chart. This means the orders will be displayed by creation time — from the very first to the most recent.

When Newer First is selected, the most recently placed orders will appear at the top of the window.

If you select Older First, the oldest orders — those placed earlier — will appear at the top. This allows you to sort the order list by date — either from newest to oldest or vice versa.

By Market sorts orders alphabetically by coin name.

Order Cancellation

In addition to sorting, the following extra actions are available in this menu:

  • Cancel all pending — cancels all Pending orders without affecting unfilled Buy orders.
f you have both Buy and Pending orders active, this option will cancel all Pending orders across all coins, leaving Buy orders unchanged.

  • Cancel all real buys — cancels all Buy orders, while leaving Pending orders untouched.
If both types of orders are placed and this option is selected, all Buy orders will be canceled, but Pending ones will remain active.

  • Cancel ALL BUYs — cancels all Buy orders, including Pending orders.
After selecting this option, all such orders on all coins will be removed.
You can assign a hotkey for this action in Settings → Hotkeys under the field Cancel ALL buys — this is often faster and more convenient.

Position Closing

  • Panic Sell ALL — triggers emergency market sell of all active Sell orders across all coins. After confirmation, the terminal will apply VStop at [Buy price + 1%] and execute Panic Sell for all Sell orders.
For example, place several Buy orders on different coins, execute them, and place Sell orders. Then press Panic Sell ALL — all Sell orders will be closed, and the coins sold at the current market price.
In some cases, a Sell order may not be fully closed via Panic Sell. Possible reasons:

    • Incorrect Panic Sell parameters

    • Order volume is too small (below the coin’s minimum lot size).
In such cases, the chart may still show an unexecuted Sell order and a blue area representing the attempted sale. To resolve this, press the Panic Sell button on the order panel and cancel the sale attempt.
      Then you can:

      • Buy additional coins and merge them with the order to meet the minimum lot

      • Leave the order active and wait for the price to reach it

      • Cancel the order and treat the coins as a small remainder, later converting them to BNB to pay fees on the exchange.

    • Close ALL orders — performs a combined action: cancels all Buy orders and simultaneously triggers emergency sale of all Sell orders at market price. After confirmation, the terminal removes all Buy orders, sets VStop to [Buy price + 1%], and activates Panic Sell for all Sell orders across all coins.
